Hello, I’m Gabby Barnes, photographer based in Geelong, Victoria.

I have always had a keen interest in photography, ever since I got my first point and shot camera photography has always given me an opportunity to express myself, has enabled me to find my artistic voice and allowed me to convey the deepest thoughts of my mind.

I have been undertaking photography in a serious capacity for the last six years; I started out freelancing by shooting bands and music events, before expanding my repertoire to include commercial and advertising images for clients such as Platform Arts (formerly Courthouse Youth Arts), Geelong Central Marketing and Warwick Beauty. I also specialise in family portraiture and professional head shots.

I undertook work experience at Sara Taylor Photography in Geelong, and successfully completed a Certificate 3 & 4 in Visual Art (Photography) at Oxygen College. My photographic journey continued with me graduating from RMIT University, Melbourne in 2020 where I attained Bachelor of Arts in Photography.

I am extremely interested in taking photographs of portraiture and nature in my personal contemporary art practice, as well as being available for all of your commercial photography needs.
